Sophie Luton Trip to Belfast

I would like to say thank you so much for fund me go to Belfast IUK Camp as I really enjoyed it very much as was firstly on Monday morning my mum took me to Bristol Airport to meet Wales people about 8 of them as I was so nervous to meet them. So lucky my mum stand by me until I go and with them to Airport in another room. My mum told me please do not worry too much as I'm sure I will be alright and 3 adults are looking after me and others it was no problem so I said cheerio to my mum and big hugs!

I went in the plane and sit down as was nervous as first time without my mum and family as usual. Anyway arrived land Belfast and Wales adult told me must go with England people as I wasn't sure so I went to England team to say hi to everybody. They were from London and Newcastle. So all of us went in to the coach to ride to Delamont House as not a camp...Phew!! lol...I started to meet people and adults people to hello, what is your name, where come from etc because realised I enjoyed and meet new friends they were really friendly and I was so relieved thought they would ignored me but it wasn't.

Really good start Monday was our first day and already showed us all the rooms where I sleep, dinner room, living room, games room and things then evening we went to play games for laughed. Tuesday, workshops, activities things, evening games, then Wednesday go to Belfast for workshop at Wilton House. Tour bus to Belfast then go to Dinner at Odyssey. Arrived back to Delamont House 10pm which was busy day. Thursday we had self image deaf identity workshop then Friday travelled to Portrush and stay for lunch, went to Funfair was brilliant fun, stayed for dinner at Portrush.

Saturday workshop reflection of the week, art/collage work. Went to Belfast town to spend thing I bought some, BBQ at Lady Dixons Park in Belfast was nice place. Evening all of went to disco at Welston House to say goodbye for our last day to time go back England next day. I was so tears as miss of my friends. Sunday to time catch flight to back England as told staffs to wish to like stay another week.

Lucky I got their email address and keep in touch them on msn as was nice to hear from them but I missed them I didn't expect thought they ignored me or not speak to me but they did good to me. I really would like to BIG thanks so much for me go otherwise I don't go it would be able don't know where was there like but I DID!!!
